Once again, thank you! I had no idea we could download, but I followed your instructions and now have the Emmett Louis Till documentary. Are you aware the film Witchcraft (1970) has already been taken down? I didn't get a chance to copy it, regretfully. The films you are posting are fantastic and personally, I really appreciate what you are doing! The Malcolm X documentary blew me away. It's difficult communicating this way. But, I took your advice & downloaded the Patrice Lumumba film as soon as you put it up. Thank you, because it's an excellent, profound & disturbing film which shows just how this country & the governments of the so-called West, deal with people when they stand up. I couldn't believe the filmmakers got these horror-show colonialists to admit to what they'd done; the Belgian guy is talking about how he chopped and chopped and dissolved the bodies in acid - & what wouldn't dissolve, he burned. I don't know where you found the film but my hat, my friend, is off to you! The bad news is, I didn't see what you already knew. And that is, that all of the films you are posting would be taken down. The Lumumba film went down pretty quick. But as I was watching Roots series and in the middle of the 4th. segment, somebody took the whole deal down!!! I've learned my lesson - a bitter one. Bless you for the work you do !!

I want to return the favor by giving you a film I found this morning, a little-known film about Che Guevara. And I now see you have written a response to my messages, thank you! Wow, if you can get the James Baldwin film, I'll flip out. I was a student of Mr. Baldwin' and eventually, we became good friends. Before he died in 1987, I worked for Jimmy, I was his secretary and personal assistant. The film, "Price of the Ticket" opens with a photograph of our university class @ Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I am in the photo, a young man then (1977) with my hair pulled back in a braid. I really hope you can get it. I loaned my copy out years ago and it wasn't returned to me, unfortunately. You mentioned other films. I was so excited when you posted the complete "Roots" series - how many years ago did that come out, wow !? So I watched the first 2 segments and then it was taken down, much to my chagrin! I'd love to have the whole series if you can do that. My daughter is nine and I'd like to watch the series with her. Ironically, I've never seen it as a rental in video stores (& I've looked.) I wanted to rent it for Zoë's but never could. I will check back here but also, let me give you my email.
